- He likes to try and dress himself. We've been giving him more choices of clothes what to wear. "Do you want to wear this shirt or this one?"
- The terrible twos are coming. Goodness gracious!
- He ate the inside of my fish oil pill.
- We got rid of the paci (he still liked to hold it the first few nights). I cut the tip off. He put it in his mouth and noticed something different (even before it was in his mouth). I said "what happened" and he said "broken" right when I said "it's broken." (smart kid!) I told him he's a big boy and doesn't need it. He can still kind of suck on it. I said if you don't want it, just leave it in your bed. I left the room and he said "oh no. broke." :) I continued to cut more of the tip off until there was nothing there and he STILL wanted to hold it. At the end of the week, I asked him if he was all done with it and wanted to throw it away. Sure enough, he said yes so I ran with it. He threw it in the garbage all by himself!! Hooray! We wanted it to be something that he did on his own. I also think that his monkey has helped in place of the paci. He wasn't really attached to anything besides liking have his blanket in bed. We gave him his monkey and he has loved him!
- We turned the carseat around so that it is forward facing. He seems so big and loves it!
- We went from whole milk to 1% milk about the week before he turned 2.
- He said "cool" out of the blue today when showing him a picture of himself. HA!
- We celebrated his birthday with the family - his birthday party got postponed a week because he got sick a day or two before we were suppose to have his party. At least this time the fever only lasted 3 days.
we got him a baseball glove and ball for his birthday!
I can't stand it. He looks so old!
