G R A N D M A.

My mom was able to come down this last weekend [totally last minute] and just be with me and Wyatt. It was perfect timing because Andrew had to go back to work on Friday and worked ALL weekend. I absolutely LOVED having my mom here. It is so important to rest [i've learned the hard way...taking a walk when I shouldn't have]. My mom cleaned, cooked, let me rest, and everything in between. I LOVE YOU MOM and am so glad you were able to meet baby Wyatt!

week 38.

We had a doctor appointment on Friday, June 3 [10 days after last appointment], where we found out that we are 4cm dilated and 80% effaced. C R A Z Y! She said the bag of waters felt taut and balloon-like. [basically, great and it seemed to me like it was ready to pop! :)] His head is definitely low...I can definitely feel it. No more crossing the legs and I sit spread eagle ALL the time!

I can't believe it could be anytime now.

[ok. this is what I had written down on Friday, June 3, 2011. This is what happened the morning of June 4, 2011...]

week 37.

Our baby is officially considered full-term!

Well, I'm still here and no baby! I got the best piece of advice from a very dear friend of mine. She said to enjoy every moment you are in and not to be so excited for the next milestone. We were so wanting him to be born sooner than later (well, more Andrew) that we were almost forgetting on enjoying the time that WE have together. This will be the only time I can enjoy being pregnant with no other kids around and this will be the some of the last times with just Andrew and myself together. I want to cherish these last few days. [She also made a good point about when the baby is here and looking forward to when they can crawl or walk or whatever it is, but we should focus on the present and enjoy where they are at] I cannot wait to be a parent!

I just finished sewing the baby blanket for our boy. I was so ready to just be done with it. YES...it's done! Only a few more things to complete and then I'll REALLY be ready for the baby!

I have definitely been feeling him drop. He feels so much lower. I can't cross my legs at all. I HAVE to sit like a boy. Our next appointment is on Friday, so we'll see if I am dilated anymore or effaced!

Here is my 37 week picture! I'm not sure I've gotten that much bigger [I mean I'm huge] but it's hard for me to tell. :)
