13 months

Wyatt turned 13 months on my birthday! I can remember when he turned 1 month old on my 27th birthday and now he's 1! This is crazy! It's amazing how fast it has gone by.
- Wyatt is absolutely obsessed with the stairs. He constantly is crawling to them and crawling SO FAST up them.
- I feel like he is starting to understand more
- I noticed his gums on the bottom left looking a little white, so I figured a tooth was coming in. That night I felt it and it was soft. I knew that it wasn't a tooth and there was something else going on. I called the on-call nurse and she said she had only had this question a couple times in a long time. Oh great! She ended up calling it an eruption cyst. I guess it is suppose to go away on it's own and he'll just swallow it and it's no big deal. That is exactly what happened. The next morning it was gone and soon enough the tooth popped through. It was really weird though.
- He took a few steps when he was 12 1/2 months. He did it for Sarah!
- Wyatt is getting brave and starting to step away from furniture.
- My mom watched Wy the other day and Amy had put him on our bed. He had apparently fallen off...whoops. Amy felt so bad.
- He is learning how to go down the stairs...very much learning.
- My mom thought that he said the word, "book."
- He has at least 4 more teeth that have now poked through. I am almost positive at least one of them is a molar.
- I think the sign for all done is also his sign for more. :)
- We celebrated the 4th of July with a family softball game and a BBQ. Wyatt slept through the fireworks. This was his first time hearing them because of living at camp.
- He is going through major separation anxiety. He is getting real needy and cries when I leave. It is also starting to happen at the nursery at church too.

12 months

[I posted A LOT of pictures...get ready!]

- Wyatt stayed sick for a couple more days after turning 11 months. He finally started feeling better and back to himself. It really was the weirdest sickness. It's funny how he seems so much older now after he's been out for 5 days! 

- Wyatt loves to be sung to (I sang 'You Are My Sunshine' to him all the time when he was sick)

- He fell in the den on the tv stand and got a goose between his eyes. 

- He says woof! If you ask him what a dog says he says woof or else he'll repeat it after you.

- Started walking with his walker! 

- I cannot believe how much older he is looking...this is crazy! 

- I've only noticed him biting a little bit, and really just the beginning of the month.

- I have been struggling with parenting issues. It's so hard to know what to do. I have several books I am reading and getting ideas from. Some are good and some are just bleh. He is starting to throw tantrums already!!!

- He thinks it's the funniest thing when balls off of things (i.e. laps, legs, tables) He'll just start laughing!

- Raegan came over for a few days and Wyatt was majorly jealous! He was constantly crawling over to me, especially when I was paying attention to Rae. Kelley was/is having complications in her pregnancy and her doctor put her on bed rest for a little bit. We decided to take Rae for a few days and it was so fun to see them playing together. They definitely play apart from each other put there is more interaction than I thought.

- Wy and daddy were playing hide and seek and Wyatt bumped his head on the edge of the bead. (another little bump..boys will be boys!)

- Amy has stacking cups and the last few days we have started stacking them and wy gets this huge smile on his face and knocks it over. What a boy!! 

- Wyatt has this new face he does. He scrunches his nose and kind of smiles. It's pretty darn cute!

Wyatt got a couple birthday presents early from his momo and papa! I think he was more excited to sit in the box! :)

Our baby boy turned 1!! We had several little birthday photo shoots!

We went out to noodles and company for dinner. Wyatt loved the mac and cheese. I thought it was just alright, but I'm not a huge mac and cheese fan. He was being such a goofball. :)

Then we went to a park and did another mini photo shoot! :)

                          We had his 1st birthday party a few days later (June 9th), but felt that I should    include it on this post. We had family, the Bradfords, and the Stokes come over to celebrate!

he proceeded to pick at the cake, but wasn't into it. especially after daddy smooshed his "owie" hand into the cake without thinking. whoops.

He liked the cupcake much better!!
