- He signs thank you. Not on his own, but if you ask him to sign it, he will.
- Wyatt came down the stairs all by himself...like without any supervision. He was upstairs with Amy and I was downstairs. The next thing I know I see Wyatt walking around downstairs. I asked Amy if she brought him down and she said no. Whoa! I put him back up there to see what he did. Sure enough, he turned around and came down on his belly. :)
- I thought maybe he signed want. I always say "What do you want?" because he says "eh, eh" all the time.
- Wyatt snorts for a pig sound (daddy taught him that one) He knows animal sounds for lion, dog, pig, cat, and cow.
- He signed sit (signs eat, water, milk, all done, thank you, please, sit, maybe want)
- I told him "let's take your socks off" and reiterated socks off and he sat down and starting pulling his sock off. So cute that he is understanding more and actually trying to do things. He is getting so smart. If we are about to eat and I tell him to go to his highchair, he totally will.
- Wyatt had his 15 month appointment and here are his stats:

- He fell and hit his head on the corner of the piano bench and got a little goose.
- We totally booked heads and I'm pretty sure it hurt me way worse than it did him. He came over and gave me a hug. It was the sweetest thing.
- He got a cold and was congested and must have gotten it from Raegan since she was sick. I thought maybe it was from the flu vaccine he got (his first), but they said they don't get cold symptoms from the vaccine.

- We went up to Seattle for my cousin's wedding. They got married on a boat, which was docked, but it was so pretty to see all of Seattle on the water. We got to Seattle a little early so headed over to the U District with the family. While we were there, Wyatt got stung by a bee. This has never happened and I didn't know what to do - moment of panic. No family was around me so I found my mom and she pulled the stinger out. There were a ton of flowers and bees out. I'm not sure if it was a yellow jacket or not. The site was real red at first and then began to swell up pretty fast. We went to the drugstore there and got Benadryl and talked with the pharmacist. She said to watch his breathing and his vitals - I was like whoa, this is serious. Because it swelled up so much, so fast, my mom thought maybe he was allergic. I'm thinking do I need take him to emergency!?! It didn't really go down much, but the pain was better for him. We almost think the Benadryl had the opposite effect and made him wound up. I looked on the bottle and it said that it can cause excitement - I had no idea! I always thought Benadryl made you drowsy. It was more swollen the next morning. I talked to the on call nurse and she said to keep doing Benadryl and can do Ibuprofen or ice to reduce swelling. Usually the second day it's more swollen and fluid can collect there when lying down (sleeping), but when standing gravity pulls it down and reduces swelling. I did not know that. Within a few days it was better. Although even a few weeks later you can see a dot where the bee stung him.

- We ended up going to CO for a few days, because Andrew got a call that his dad wasn't going to make it. I can't even begin to tell you how surreal this was. I think it was great that Wyatt was out there as he was a great distraction! Michael ended up passing away on September 20th, the morning before we got there. It was a crazy morning of buying plane tickets last minute, hopping on a plane with wyatt (andrew was flying in from sacramento, where he was recruiting) and meeting up with Andrew at DEN to support my husband. I know he needed us and I wanted to get out there. It was so great being able to spend time with the family and talk and laugh about the memories. I'm so glad we were able to be there.
- This was Wyatt's 5th plane ride!
- We went to the zoo when we got back from CO. This was a much needed family distraction. It was fun to take Wyatt now that he is a little older. We are thinking of buying a pass - I wonder how far it is from Newberg.
- Wyatt got sick again and threw up. He's never done that before. The first time it was just clear liquid and then he threw up milk (whoops) and milk again the next morning. He was eating better the night before so I thought I'd try milk again...I didn't try it again for about a day and a half! I ended up taking him in because I feel like he keeps getting fevers and they seem to hang on for awhile. Dr. Moshofsky didn't feel like he needed to do blood work because of the way he was acting when sick. If he would have been lethargic and unresponsive then he would be worried. Even though he had a temp of 105 at one point, he still wasn't too concerned. I trust him. He ran a test to see if he had a UTI, but he didn't. Well, the test came back showing there was a trace of protein and blood so he sent the test in. By this point, I was so ready to go that I forgot to ask him what that meant. Wyatt had to have a bag put over his penis so they could test his urine. I felt like it took forever for him to pee. We tried drinking water, running his hands under water and by the end of it I felt like I needed a pee bag! :) He said if he still has a fever in two days to come back and we will do blood work. Of course it went away that next day! I'm tempted to take him in the next time this happens (if soon after the last) and have them do blood work.

- He goes down the slide all by himself. He usually likes to go down backwards. This is at Avamere where the slide isn't that big! :)
