21 months

- We had a living social that was about to expire and so we went to the beach! It was so fun to get away. I was excited because with our living social deal also came coupons to dinner and passes to the aquarium. Well, the dinner wasn't anything special and the aquarium was a dive. Of course living in Santa Cruz, I always dreamed of going to the Monterey Aquarium. Nothing compares to that aquarium. We had a blast walking on the beach. It was a little crummy weather, but still fun.
- Wyatt learned to say beach, but says "bitch"and can also say "beach" (pretty hilarious)
- He loves to move the kitchen stool around, especially to the light switch (on/off while smiling the whole time)

- when reading a book, I'll ask him to point to things and he can do it.
- He is saying "hi" more. It is pretty funny because it sounds high pitched. he likes to go up onto the couch and wave to people outside and sometimes say "hi".
- He is such a good helper. I am trying to involve him more in what I'm doing. I think that's just what you have to do to keep sane. That and a lot of patience while doing it. :)
- He got a high temperature AGAIN! We did blood work AGAIN! We ended up going to the Newberg hospital and they did a great job. I kept wondering if this was a fluke time because he had a cold before he got a temp. It's just so weird because he gets these temps ALL the time. The blood work came back negative.
- He ended up getting Roseola about a day after his fever was gone. It only lasted 2-3 days, where the doctor said it could last a week! I called in because he developed this rash and he's never had a rash like that before. They said it could be Roseola but kept asking if they were pink or red dots. They looked more red to me so they wanted to see him. (silly mom thing that I can't tell if they are pink or red dots..ha!) I guess it's better to take them in to know. Dr. Moshofsky was out and so we had Dr. Weil take a look at him since he knows Wyatt's history with the fevers. He labeled it as Roseola. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten it yet, since it happens after you have a fever. :)
- We got his final report of his blood work back and it was negative. Dr. Moshofsky said he didn't want to call it periodic fevers because of his blood work being negative and no evidence to show that that's what it is. He said he could just be a child that gets pretty high temps when he gets them. I'm so glad that's my child! Ha! He said just to keep watching it. I told him we would be switching insurance in the next month and have to go with a different doctor. (I am so bummed) He is an amazing doctor and I am so glad he was able to help with Wyatt's crazy fever episodes.

21 months

20 months

- Well, January 1st, we found out we are pregnant!! We must have found out pretty early because when we first went in for our ultrasound I was only 6.5 weeks pregnant, when we thought we were 8! Four weeks later we went in for another ultrasound and I was almost 12 weeks, so something was off! Our due date is September 6. Wyatt is going to be an amazing big brother.

- We watched Raegan since Emrie was still in the hospital. Wy and Rae had a blast hanging out. Emrie finally was able to go home, 13 days later. They are very cautious parents now that they are home and probably will be for awhile. I would be too! :) (too bad my child is sick all the time!!)

- He is saying a lot of words. Saying "bye-bye" and "help please".

- January 18th he had a high temperature...AGAIN! I took him in (unfortunately Dr. Moshofsky was gone) and saw Dr. Weil. He checked him out everywhere and found pus in the back of his throat. He ran a test, but it was negative. He said maybe strep, but it wasn't. They did blood work at pediatrician, but only got enough for a blood culture because he moved his elbow. We got sent to St. Vincents for blood work, but they couldn't get any. What a nightmare! I actually was holding up pretty well, until they asked if I was doing ok. Both Wyatt and I had enough. They asked if we wanted to just go and come back tomorrow. We went back the next day, with Andrew by my side. Luckily Mike was there and did amazing! (The day before they said if only Mike was here) He got his blood flowing right away. I'm sure it helped that we were pushing fluids on Wyatt too. His tests results from the blood work came back negative. That's great, but now what!!?

- He caught air on his jumping. He's a good jumper!

- He can point to body parts and says nose, mouth, eyes, ears, head, toes
