week 19.

I know I am 20 weeks now, and am a little delayed with putting my 19 week picture up. I don't have time to write it about it now and still have to learn how to write on the picture! Here is the picture for now.

week 18.

Oh my gosh. I am so emotional these days. I just watched our mock rock video from last year [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZQ5DwGnqTE] and got all emotional. [I must be pregnant] I love my girls so much. I can't believe they are all graduating and we are leaving.

This week I actually felt the babe move! It was so crazy to actually feel him/her. I was just had my hand on my stomach and all of the sudden it was like a bubble popped. I wasn't for sure if that was it but it happened again so I knew it must have been the baby!! I can't wait until it starts moving around more!

Food has never tasted SOO good. I was never a food fanatic before, but it's like I am passionate about food now. Everything just tastes so good! I eat all the time...little snacks throughout the day.

I have also started wearing maternity pants pretty much all the time. I was doing regular pants with a belly band, but, it is a little tight. I am definitely in the awkward stage but so fun to start wearing..and comfy too!

Andrew and I cannot wait to be parents to this precious little one. We love him/her so much already. I can't wait to start a family.

week 17 picture.

oops. The pictures from the last blog post are actually from week 16. This is the picture for week 17. The idea is to write something on the picture about how the week has gone..thoughts, feelings, etc. [I guess i have to figure out how to do that]

17 weeks.

I'm sure most of you know by now that I am pregnant! I meant to start this weekly blog journal sooner but there is no time better than now. I want to try and capture what each week feels like and the different emotions and feelings that are running through me.

I am now on my 17th week of being pregnant. The last couple of weeks have made it feel more real because I have started to show! Someone at work this last week actually could tell I was pregnant. I made note of that for sure! :) This week our baby is as big as a turnip. [I wish I knew what a turnip looked like..ha] I read that this week our baby can begin to hear things like the dog barking. I guess it's a good thing we have such a protective dog because our baby will get to use to this sound and could sleep right through it...fingers crossed.

This baby is sure creating havoc on my sciatic nerve. Last night was the worst! I had a hard time sleeping because every time I tried to change positions, the left side of my butt would have this shooting pain. At one point it was so bad I decided to get off the bed and try repositioning all over. Boy, was that a mistake! I couldn't even make it onto the bed. With all my grunting, sniffling, and who knows what else, I woke up Andrew and he graciously helped me back up. All I could think about was how you aren't suppose to feel like this until the END of pregnancy...right!?! It's gonna be a long road. My friend, Sarah, gave me a name and number of this Chiropractor that should be able to help. I'll give her a call beginning of next week and see what happens.

Besides that, I have nothing to complain about. HA! Pregnancy is seriously amazing and I love this baby more and more everyday!

Oh, and February 1st is when we should find out if we are having a girl or boy. [I hope we can find out...although I think Andrew is more excited than me :)]

My sister and I. Kelley is 7 weeks ahead of me. Can you tell?

These two pictures are taken from my friend Erica. We are going to do this every week!
