Yes, we found out this week that we will be having a baby boy! We could not be more excited! Pee pee teepee's here we come! :)
Last weekend, Andrew and I went up to Dodge Ridge [near Yosemite] for the high school snow camp. It was so fun! All but two of my small group girls were there...we had a blast! On Saturday, we decided to go on an adventure. Well, I didn't think I'd go because well...I'm pregnant! I wanted to go take pictures of the girls sledding. We took a different route that was easier until we got to THE LOG! I wasn't gonna go across it, but then I thought why not? Everyone else is just scooting across..why can't I!?! I DID IT...both ways. And, I must add that on the way back I had our camera around my neck and the high school groups camcorder in my pocket. I didn't even rip a hole in my pants! :) It was definitely a fun adventure and here a couple of pictures to prove it!

Every time I left from the lodge to the bathroom or our cabin there was always one of my small group girls right there with me. [making sure I didn't fall of course] I think it was because of this "healthy" fear they had of Andrew and him making a comment to them about watching out for me and the baby! It was pretty awesome! [i even had one girl throw salt in front of me..ha!]
I use to be a person who loved snacks...and I still do, but, the desserts have far outweighed any kind of snack since I have been pregnant! I have to be careful. The doctor said my weight gain is right on track. Oh, last weekend I had the best compliment I have ever heard yet, since being pregnant. Someone told me that from the back you can't even tell I'm pregnant! I LOVE IT! :)
This week the baby is the size of a banana...so crazy! It was absolutely amazing to see our boy on the ultrasound. He did a couple flips for us and was moving around so much the ultrasound tech had to tell him to stop moving around. She sure had a funny way of telling us it was a boy. About 15 minutes into the ultrasound, she said there is the thigh, the other thigh, the butt, and there is the scrotum and penis! Well, ok..it must be a boy then! Andrew and I looked at each other and could hardly believe we were gonna have a boy! I definitely got teary eyed. [in the picture that says It's a boy, the thing coming out from in between his thighs is the umbilical cord!] The flutters feel more like butterflies in my belly each day!
This week was a great week! I have definitely felt a little more tired because I walk around so much at my job. My job might be changing a little bit too in the next few weeks. I will keep you posted on that! For now, enjoy the ultrasound pics!
