This week Wyatt has been starting to grab for toys. It is so cute to watch finally open up his fists more and want to play with things. I still have to put the toys near his hands for him to try and grab it. Here is a video of him holding on to a toy.
Kelley and I went to this huge warehouse full of baby things. This was also a horrible day! First, we got to the warehouse and wyatt started fussing so the two of us went immediately back to the car to feed him. While feeding him he had a seizure like symptom. This would have been the third time it happened. Last week my mom was feeding him and all of the sudden she says, "it looks like he is having a seizure." I never saw so just thought she was exaggerating. Andrew saw the same thing a few days ago. His arms start shaking in really small, fast movements. It was really scary. He was facing away from me and I tried to turn him around so I could see his eyes but by the time I turned him around it was over. They have only lasted like 5 seconds or less. It is so weird.
We left the warehouse sale and drove back to Kelley's. It is only like a 10 minute drive. We arrived at her house and were getting our babies out of the car when I realized that I had never strapped Wyatt in. I didn't bring my base to the carseat because you can just use the handles on the carseat and the seatbelt to strap the carseat in. Wyatt was strapped into the seat, but I had totally forgotten to buckle the seatbelt in. OH MY GOSH! I could not believe I had done this. This was my first really 'mom' moment. Unbelievable!

Wyatt has been talking more and more...or rather cooing. Although, everytime the camera gets on him, he freezes. The first video is of him cooing on his playmat, which he loves!

14 weeks
My mom went back to work this week and Wy and I have been enjoying each other. I took Wyatt to the zoo for the first time. It was mostly a trip for the mommies! :) The other three babies were like 2-3 months older than Wyatt, and much more alert. Hence, most of the pictures Wyatt is sleeping. Oh well..I had fun! I got to meet two other amazing moms. I hope we get to hang out again soon.
As you can see in the picture, Wyatt is starting to roll over. He is in the very beginning stages but is so fun to see!
My sister's baby, Reagan, who is 6 weeks older than Wyatt is just now getting out of her 3-6 month clothes. Wyatt is too...I was trying his 6 month clothes on the other day and some of them fit!!! CRAZY!
Wyatt had his first giggle this week. It wasn't really a laugh but a pre-laugh! :) It was the cutest thing EVER. We are trying to capture a video of it. We'll see if he lets us...
This week I tried not swaddling him as well as just laying him down for a nap. I think he was so tired that he just fell right asleep because he definitely hasn't done it anymore. We will still be swaddling (seems to help) and soon we will try the cry it out method. It is so hard to just let him cry and cry and cry. It would be great to get him to just fall asleep on his own though instead of us having to bounce him or something that involves us moving nonstop for a considerable amount of time! :)

3 months
3 months!!! I can't believe it. Our baby boy is getting SO big. Three months has literally flown by. We went from living at Camp Hammer to living with my parents in Portland, OR. He has become so much more alert and can definitely tell when it is his daddy or mommy talking to him. He is all about smiles these days! We just love him SO much.
I can't wait to see how much he weighs. We go in for his four month appointment on Oct. 10th.

12 weeks.
Wyatt found his fingers this week! It's really funny when he is lying on his play mat and we hear this sucking noise from across the room...pretty cute!
We are doing mostly formula now. I will breastfeed once in the morning and then late afternoon/early evening it's about time to get that milk out! :) This is what works for now. It's beginning to be a battle at the early evening breastfeeding time so we may have to ka-bosh that one. Wyatt did have his first 6 oz bottle this week. Everything I have read up on says to give a 3 month old less than this but I am going off of how much his little stomach wants to eat. He guzzled the 6 ounces down. Although, I think he would eat just about anything. He loves to suck! He is still spitting up a ton, but it's better. We realized that 6 ounces might be a little much and he seems satisfied with 5 ounces.
He doesn't sleep in his bassinet anymore on the pack n' play. There is a level before the bottom of the pack n' play that we have laid Wyatt in and he does great.

We are getting settled into Portland. It is super crazy taking care of Wyatt and my mom, but we are surviving.

10 weeks.
At 10 weeks old Wyatt had his first golf cart ride at Camp Hammer. We were saying our goodbyes to camp. The three of us took the golf cart around camp to get a couple last minute things and stare up at the sky. Camp Hammer is the only place I have ever been where the stars in the sky look absolutely amazing. There isn't a light in site forever and the night sky seriously looks like nothing you have ever seen before.
Wyatt was 10 1/2 weeks old when he went on his first plane ride. I wish I had pictures from this adventure, but it was kind of a little crazy. It was just Wy and I. Andrew dropped us off on their way up to Portland. I had to feed him right when we got there which took a little bit of time. Then there ended up being a really long security line. By the time we got to the end, Wyatt had finally fallen asleep in the moby wrap. We got to the part where you take your shoes off, and put everything on the conveyor belt. They told me I had to take Wyatt out. Ugh...he had just fallen asleep and why does that matter anyway? I was a little annoyed with that, but more annoyed with the fact that I had to remove the moby wrap. For any of you who know what a moby wrap is...it takes forever to put on and take off. When I got to the other side I had to figure out what to do with Wyatt while I put the moby back on. I layer a blanket down and set him on it. As we were walking down the terminal, I heard my name over the loud speaker. That has never happened to me before. We only had about 10 minutes before the plane took off. Luckily we made it, and it wasn't a full flight! I even had an empty seat next to me. Wyatt was a superstar the whole flight. I nursed up and down for the air pressure and in between he just slept. Kelley and Reagan came to pick us up and now we are in Portland, OR, waiting for our stuff to arrive later. Thank you Dad, Uncle Jay, and Nathan for helping us move!
